Exploring Our Neighbourhood

Today Sphume, Lerato, Pumla and Thithi went on a shopping mission in the West Village, and the rest of us decided to stay in and get some much needed rest. When we couldn’t sleep anymore, we dragged ourselves out of the apartment and embarked on a hunt for something to eat in our neighbourhood, the Lower East Side. The Lower East Side has many quirky and hidden gems, so it didn’t take long for us to find Spritzer’s, a super hipster restaurant on Rivington Street. 

After lunch, we explored the neighbourhood further and on a whim decided to do a little shopping at nearby stores. A couple of shoe purchases later, we found a sidewalk table at a lovely restaurant where we enjoyed some delicious wine and people-watched. 

Again, WE LOVE NEW YORK!!!
